Australia is getting it right!!!

​The Australasian Arabian Breeders Coalition has been working for several years to develop a deeply detailed evaluation system for the improvement of the Arabian horse in their part of the world.

I am so e​xcited to be involved with standardizing a method of evaluating breeding stock that will provide breeders and owners with the information to make successful breeding decisions for their programs.  This comprehensive system involves scoring over 300 points of conformation, type and movement on each horse.

Horses are then categorized as Quality, Premium or Elite. 

This system allows breeders to see what they are doing right and what might need some improvement from an impartial, outside eye.
I enthusiastically support educating owners and breeders so that they can make the best choices for the type of horse they want to produce. The rigorous evaluation program is going to pay off in this country which values the Authentic Arabian--a horse with an abundance of type as well as the correctness to be a great athlete!!!!
