Celtic Music
I fell in love with Irish music 30 years ago listening to Christy Moore on the radio here in the U.S. It is a love affair that continues. For over 20 years I’ve hosted a radio show on public radio on Irish and Scottish music. My tastes run from Planxty to the Pogues, Guggenheim Grotto to the Tulla Ceili Band.

Currently I do a radio show, “The Long Acre” every Monday from 1-3pm Mountain Standard Time on KRFC 88.9FM in Fort Collins, Colorado. You can listen live streaming at the website,
www.krfcfm.org
The title of the show, “The Long Acre” is both a well known tune also known as “The Long Grazing Acre” and refers to the practice of a farmer allowing his cattle to graze along the roadside grass of his neighbors, hence the “long” acre.
I do a monthly review column for “The Celtic Connection” in Denver Colorado entitled “Round the House” (and Mind the Dresser–a well known dance tune).
